Early this morning EVGA announced that master overlocker Vince ‘k|ngp|n’ Lucido has shattered the 3DMark 11 Extreme world record using EVGA gear.

What's so hot about breaking world records year after year on 3DMark? For sure new technologie is getting better year after year. Nothing to see here IMHO.

Kinda cool I guess, but a guy breaking records that is using hand picked hardware from the manufacturer isnt that exciting IMO.

^^^^ I'm disappointed...you guys call yourselves "Enthusiasts" ??? Evidently NOT...I find it pretty fcckin cool ;)...but only an Enthusiast would, even its an Enthusiast that only uses his home purchased HW, as he would have appreciation for this.

You guys are just jealous. That's almost 10% better than his record using a 3+ year old socket! Yay progress! With a dixie cup no less!

Still, I doubt this record will stand as long as my 3DMark11 World Record (338 days and counting plus a whole 0.1 HWBot points for Hardware Canucks!)
