Here's another one if you guys haven't seen it yet.
The Next Big Thing Has the Best Apps - YouTube

Gotta love that Samsung is sticking it to Apple and their arrogance!
Love Android, and Google has done a great job to take their OS to the next level.
Wait till you guys try out ICS and the Galaxy Nexus. What an amazing phone that destroys the current iPhone 4S in every which way you can think of.

Unfortunately not true. My Galaxy S2 uses a proprietary connector now instead. It is USB based but its not a usb connector.

The Galaxy 2 I looked at had a micro USB cable....the same cable used for the Galaxy Vibrant.

Edit: mini usb on the left, micro on the right:

I find that really hard to believe, every variant of the Galaxy I've come across recently is using the MicroUSB connector.
This includes the Galaxy SII LTE, Galaxy S Glide and the Galaxy Nexus.

Yep that's USB micro, most phones seem to be going that route these days. I actually bought a little converter, mini to micro so I can use the car charger that came with my hands free set with my phone.

Yep. One of the things that almost got me to get the S2 was that you could find micro USBs almost anywhere at people's houses if needed, and if you lost a cable you could easily buy one for less than $10. In my mind this is a huge selling feature.

How are you enjoying your proprietary cable instead?

Sucks. It was one of the strikes against the iPhoney.

Too bad the S2 would not do my work email properly as it was a pretty key requirement. Maybe when my next upgrade comes, the mobile version of our email will work well in Android, and the Android phone will take better pictures in low light.

You can get an iPhone cable for like 2 bucks.
