I for one look forward to see if this technically will eventually make it to the commercial scene as this could really help out battery life in all sorts of things from smartphones, to laptops, to electric cars as well (though I'm not quite sure what kind of batteries they use), to essentially anything we use li-ion batteries in.
This could really lend a hand with a zombie apocalypse too
