Yeah, and ATI is technically owned by AMD, right? Since it still remains to be seen how Nvidia is going to handle Ageia, I won't tar them with the same brush... yet. Besides, (Looks at latest on 9800GTX) I'm sure I'll have other things to get upset with Nvidia for.

*laugh* dunnno why everyone is so grumpy at nvidia for? They have no reason to release another great GTX card yet as the GTX is still a great card.

Well, that's kind of the problem, isn't it? The GTX is STILL a great card...

Maybe people are grumpy because a new gtx card will make the 8800 one actually affordable to anyone except for the super rich? As for Havoc, great news indeed, but I wonder how one gets onto the list of 'approved' commercial developers that can use it for free.

this is good new indeed. More/better physics in games the better.

I agree on the point the card is worth too much money now with stuff like the 8800 GT but hey if you want top notch performance then a GTX is pennies to most.

If you want the expensive cards and dont have much money youve just got to cut corners. Im not superrich yet (grad-school money is ****)- Just unloaded everything I had at a good deal on a GTX back in September. Reduced other costs by not buying a soundcard, and sourcing 2nd hand components (except for cpu, MB, Mem and psu). Also avoided a quad and went for a cheaper $188 E6570.

Pennies? it's between 60000 to 90000 pennies the last I checked. That's a almost a month's mortgage payment.
