ASRock sent over these preview pictures of their new line of X79 motherboards. While the company was scant on details, the pictures they enclosed tell a pretty detailed story of what the company will be offering shortly.

Wow...I would actually buy one of those just for the colours.

ASROck is really bringing their A-Game.

I agree, though kind of interesting to see that it has a full pci slot rather then say an pci-e x1 instead.

I wish Asus would sell that Thunderbolt card separately already. I honestly think they would sell like hotcakes within the gaming enthusiast community.

Damn I just bought a Gene-Z but I just might have to get a new CPU and their mATX board when it comes out. I just love my ASRock P67 so I am sure these will be just great!

ASRock putting out some nice boards lately, taking a bite out of some competitors' market share.

Amazing looking boards, shitty BIOS and stability.

Really?

I've heard nothing but good things as of late with them.

Maybe because I have an Extreme4 sitting right next to me and it won't OC a set of G.Skill Ripjaws or Corsair Dominators without insane amounts of voltage.

In addition, several of the BIOS options when set don't actually apply certain changes.

This is with BIOS 1.7 but supposedly (I've been hearing this for two months now) there is a new upcoming BIOS that fixes these issues. Again, "supposedly".

I will say that it has been rock solid as a Folding rig since I got it and the price was certainly competitive. Unfortunately though, some basic stuff should have been sorted out long ago.
