Extreme 9 looks nice - ASRock X79 Extreme9 Tops Off Lineup by VR-Zone.com

Combined NIC and audio card is interesting, wonder how it performs.

A few boards have that, EVGAs hi end boards and some ASRock. Supplies additional power to PCIE slots for stability supposedly.

Ah. Well It would be nice if we could get away from using molex. I suppose it's not a big deal, I just feel weird using molex in today's age.

Seems like a direct ripoff of ASUS' Thunderbolt card.

I'd rather have the Molex and not Cook something when Running lots of GPU's (Folding).

I am sure they could implement a Sata Connector too maybe? But they probably use Molex so you don't waste a 'Chain' of them by routing to your motherboard.

Common engineers, common shareholders / owners = common products. If it was GB putting this out maybe it would be a ripoff but Im pretty sure ASUS and ASRock still share tech.

This is with BIOS 1.7 but supposedly (I've been hearing this for two months now) there is a new upcoming BIOS that fixes these issues. Again, "supposedly".

I will say that it has been rock solid as a Folding rig since I got it and the price was certainly competitive. Unfortunately though, some basic stuff should have been sorted out long ago.
Good to know! Thanks Sky!
