Default teasers FX-8150 oc'ing

Includes video footage of oc event from few weeks back, interesting quote from there posting:

" If the enthusiasts can in fact expect mid-4GHz overclocks with the lesser priced model 8120 processors using aggressive air and sealed water cooling configurations, I would suggest AMD will possibly do good at satisfying many of those waiting on its 8-core processors for so long now. "

Rest here:

*Link Removed. No HardOCP links on HWC please.

Nice to see that they can overclock that well, the bigger question will be is how will they perform at the same clock speeds vs intel's past (1366), currrent (1155) and future (2011 whenever that may come out)

As a reminder, links to HardOCP are not allowed.

Never knew about this in all honesty.

Now you do.

We aren't blocking links to their forums as they contain excellent information for F@H teams. They main site however, is another matter.

It's a bit more complicated then that, and unfortunately we'll have to leave the explanation like that.

Actually, I'll expand on it a bit.

HardOCP decided to arbitrarily (supposedly due to "NDA breaches"...har har) block links from their forums to HWC almost a year ago. After numerous attempts to rectify the situation through open dialog, we took the decision to avoid driving too much traffic their way.

Fair enought & gottcha. Crappy it couldn't be resolved but my experience over the years with forums & review sites this kinda as i say "compete like" vibe goes on alot.

But maybe you's could make a base list of sites not to be posting links or naming on here for future reference ?

Sure.

1. HardOCP
2. end of list

Individual links may be removed if they are deemed to be breaking a NDA that HWC staff have signed, or to be fake. HWC does this so that the offending sites are not rewarded with traffic that originates here.

Bingo.

We don't compete with other sites. We try to SUPPORT them.
