I can see in a way why they might takes cues from mobile devices (ie tiles), as this is a common way for folks to launch apps now, but not sure i like this on a PC myself.

Windows 8 will look just like 7 but the UI will have a ribbon bar like Office and such.

if it has right click option for taskbar (not shift+right click) then i do want... i already hate tasklist...
