By the looks of it, each company does not agree with you.

Flooding the market sometimes results in price increases, I hope this doesn't happen.

I read somewere that amd had a new line starting in the summer, it started with a k kefler I think, is the 6790 part of the new line coming?

Its pretty much here already. Not sure if it was supposed to be or not, but newegg.com (not .ca) had one for sale earlier today, but it has since been removed. It was $149.99. On techpowerup.com they have multiple card photos. Big difference is that some are 1x6pin and some are 2x6pin...wonder if power consumption will vary much amongst the cards, or if it is just the pcb they have chosen to run (its a gimped barts core)

well, if the dual 6 pins are both functional, maybe you can expect higher overclocks?

either way, cards in that category should come without any extra power imputs :)

I said that in my post because of your title. You titled it with a question mark like you were uncertain if it was incoming. No need for sarcasm.

EDIT Sorry for saying about the newegg find again if in was in the news feed originally (I didn't see it, but didn't have much time when I was on here last).

gotta respond to the 550 somehow. I think this will easily beat a 550 in most areas, and kick the straggling 460 off the market for good. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes within a few percentage points of a 6850, if not on par with some clock tweaking. I'm assuming they're going to clock these cards a little higher then the 6850.
