it only makes sense, they won't stop the 1366 until the next series comes out. The only socket supporting a 6 core/12 thread processor is the 1366.. so when the 2011 comes out, that will be their flagship 6+ core processors.

Work up the hype to detract from Bulldozer?

I wonder how much better this will be binned vs the 990X... those things already bench up to 6GHz.

The Bulldozer thing might be a good point. have a few skus that top it.

now,kiddos,when you see one side moving and adjusting prices and such? you know the other's coming out strong...:)

i wouldve focused on sb if it was me, but maybe as per above, they probably have tons of chipsets to still sell...:)
