No XFX??? Any reason why they would jump ship on this beast of a card?

never got their PR, thanks for the reminder! Added :thumb:

Man, these are really "chip off the ole block" releases. Most launches, at least a few of the MFGs have factory OC versions right away, or at least some unique coolers.

This is cut, copy paste and slap a new sticker on it.

You are pretty much buying who you like the most and has the best support/warranty. Though I guess that helps narrow the choices to about 2 :haha:

+1
It leads to a "what your looking for could not be found" type page

BACK ON TOPIC

I won't be surprised to see XFX come out with a black edition of this, but considering it's already a beast of a card, what could they possibly do to make it better......

obvious change would be a new cooler (can see msi doing this as well)

i would love to see all the hot air coming out the back, but then again that would cook one of the gpus :D

rip off

What a rip off.699.00 thats a hundred over the hd 5970 when it was released. The only reason it is this high, is the fact that there is no competitive card out there. An extra 2 gigs doesn't cost a hundred dollars.
