I typically don't like chiclet keyboards, but the x120e keyboard has had very positive reviews. I'm going to see if I can try it myself before passing judgment. (new for me! :p)

I spent some time with it at CES and walked away impressed with the keyboard. I HATE the Apple one with a passion since the keys seem to be a mm or so too far apart but the one on my Vaio Z and this Thinkpad are very, very good IMO.

So tempting... its on sale (i suppose for a promotional price) - My current config has $250 off

$550 - with the 6-cell, Bluetooth 3.0, the usb hub/AC brick, Win7x64 home premium.

Going to buy it methinks...

Did you check for any additional deals? I know the CAE group coupon was giving an additional 10% off the X-Series a few weeks ago.

I don't know what CAE group is, but when trying to use Visa perks, the coupon does not work with the X120e. I am pretty much like CM, seriously considering the laptop. I am wondering if I should try to save and go for the 2gb version and buy an extra 2gb elsewhere for less than half the price.

I'm not sure how you get that price. I try to get the same set up as you do and I get to 449.

I am also on the Canadian website... At least in the address it says: en_ca and in the top it says canada - english
The main difference I see is that you are the "section" thinkpad X120e - Best of CES 2011
