Gigabyte Officially Details New OC Orange Motherboard
We finally get some shots of Gigabyte's upcoming overclocker-oriented board, and it's an X58. Definitely looks swanky though seems a bit late to be releasing X58 boards...
Interesting slot layout though. I guess they figured since most GPUs are dual-slot, why bother putting slots below the x16 PCIE?
man i miss those looks. dam good!
i see the nv and amd certifications on the pcb there.
but but...x58? meh...2011 will be upon us soon.
This board makes me angry.
It isn't dedicated to overclockers. It is dedicated to benchers. Just look at the pathetic amount of I/O ports on the back of the board. A keyboard, mouse, and your network cable and you are pretty much using everything available. Yet they add a whole bunch oif SATA ports.
Board is looking nice, very nice. But I agree with lowfat they should cut this heatsink a bit and add some port at the back of the board.
It looks very similar to my P6T Deluxe...
I personally love black PCB's ( I wish they did White more) but the orange not so much. And I agree some more rear I/O would be nice.
i second that motion, we need at least one black and white themed board. I dont think there is one yet
Of course then you would have to do a black and white loop......Mmmmm

I thought it was a newer chipset but I guess not.
I run a almost black PCB, very very dark brown it is close to black but not quite the richness of true Black.
Perfect. I've been planning out an orange and black themed build for months. This board just made the top of my wish list.
