My System Specs

Default amBX Coming Soon?

So Ubi announced that Farcry 2 and Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway will support the amBX system. I want to know if anyone here "in the know" has any idea when this thing is coming to Canada... and when will HWC get to do a review so I can tell if it's worth the plastic it's molded from to enhance my gaming experience?

I think I can get into the flashing lights and even the fans, the rumble bar... meh... I'd have to feel it to see if it really does anything to enhance the experience.

Umm... are you serious?

No offense that seems like a total money grabbing scheme to get money from people.

Ya I'm serious... I mean if it totally sux then I wouldn't even bother, which is why I'd like to hear some constructive reviews. But if it does do a nice job of bringing you in... I'm all for it!

Have you ever been on those Universal Studios type things where you wear 3D glasses and wind blows at you and stuff brushes by your feet. To me it's that but scaled down so you don't have to install a million dollar ride in your room.

Let's just say I am definitely curious ;)

I think I'll stick to a little Green plant being smoked. That's all the gaming stimulation I need......

Just not an option as often as I'd like for me. probably a good thing in the long run though.

That sounds like a desperate money grab. I wouldn't spend money on it.

Agreed Thunder, but probably better than that stroke-inducing vibrating contraption!

Seems innovative to me. It is part of the next logical step to true gaming immersion.
