CEO of AMD quits company - The Globe and Mail Quote:
AMD describes the resignation of CEO Dirk Meyer, 49, as “mutual” and effective immediately....
But AMD says the board believes it has an opportunity to create increased shareholder value.
The company says the chip-maker will need significant growth and a change in leadership to accomplish that.

Interesting. AMD suggests that they need a change in leadership in order to increase 'shareholder value'. This sounds like there is some bad news coming (ie. a quarterly loss, product launch issue, etc)
I dunno why this has me worried. Anyone with knowledge of AMD's business able to share some light on this?
