I can see this doing well if they sell it at Best Buy and similar places.


Sales person can tell someone that this will enable them to have better graphics AND faster internet than before. Most people who know nil about PCs would love faster internet.

Could have been really cool on a more powerful card! I hope this isn't a test for future cards because they won't get a lot of positive feedback on this.

1) I don't believe in the concept of a "specialty" NIC for the consumer market.
2) Given the state of the telecommunications infrastructure in this country, the client-side NIC would be the least of my concern in terms of a performance bottleneck.

Yup my ping went waydown by moving from a onboard NIC to a Intel, got to say I was Leary at first but time and use proved me wrong.

But I would never pay Killerz price for a NIC.
