Design Your Own Antec DF-85 (FiXT's Comment: Good, the thing could use a serious makeover )

Futuremark® launched a new competition today offering gamers a chance to win a one-of-a-kind PC gaming case hand-painted with their own design. To enter download the case template from the 3DMark website, create a design inspired by the High Temple scene in 3DMark® 11 and submit it to Futuremark. The grand prize is an Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 case hand-painted with the winning design. Four runners-up will each win an Antec Dark Fleet DF-35 case and Biostar TH67XE motherboard. All winners will also receive a copy of 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition. 3DMark / Antec - Case Design Competition

"The High Temple scene in 3DMark 11 with its lush jungle and mysterious temple provides a rich source of inspiration," said Jukka Mäkinen, Futuremark CEO. "We can’t wait to see the designs people create."

3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world’s most popular benchmark for measuring the 3D graphics performance of gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine designed to make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.

Guess The 3DMarks (FiXT's Comment: What a great idea! Where have I seen that before )



With the launch of 3DMark® 11 just a week away Futuremark® today launched a new competition to promote the new DirectX 11 benchmark. The 3DMark 11 Guess the Score contest sees contestants trying to guess how three specific PC gaming systems will score on the upcoming benchmark. For each system the person with the closest guess to the actual score as measured by Futuremark’s test lab team will win the MSI motherboard and graphics card from that system and a copy of 3DMark 11 Advanced Edition. In the 3DMark 11 Guess the Score contest sponsored by MSI contestants will be trying to guess how three different gaming systems will score in 3DMark 11.
