According to Zotac, what could be better than having a GTX 460 1GB card? Having two of course! Clearly a little disappointed with the current state of affairs that has NVIDIA's GTX 460 1GB cards priced at roughly $200 USD each, and in SLI, out-performing the $500 flagship GTX 480 in almost every aspect, Zotac has taken it upon themselves to design... So, since this is an "internal SLI chip", does that mean it will run fine on a non-sli board?

My only question is, will it work properly with GPU3?

I don't see why it shouldn't work fine like other dual GPU cards.

One thing that disappoints me is that Zotac chose not to add a DisplayPort like their normal GTX460 cards.

Definitely. For a motherboard to utilize SLI, it has to have the same NF200 chip on it; this method just puts it on the video card instead of the motherboard.

It also allows users to SLI, the GTX 460x2 with another for quadsli.

Updated the article as that was a good question

If they get the cooling done right, this is my next card.

Wow!!! 672 cuda cores on one card... should be one steaming folding card if it works with GPU3. I'm guessing around 25K PPD...

a must have indeed...

Put 4 of them in there for a 100K PPD box, assuming it's dual slot and it works properly with GPU3 And it doesn't melt down your chassis without a wind tunnel on top
