or they could say 480/470

cuz my guess GF100 same chip same architecture same everything except for the cuda cores (448 and 480) idk the exact number i dont study these things all i know is that my GTX470 is better than your GTX470 LMAO idk where that came from like a movie or something its funny
WTFFFFFFFFFF o.O

I'm liking the SC2 and BC2 improvements. The 460 keeps looking sweeter, and hopefully more so when the prices drop (?) when the new AMD cards come out.

Well, in the past drivers, not all of them included the GTX470 in the listings but we saw improvements anyway. So I presume it just carries over.

Arinoth...as for 470...its dead in the water dude.....look for it being EOL ....for mainstream the Market is 460 (regardless of "unlockable Cards" )....for Enthusiasts its the 480...simple really!

And yes...Betas 260.63 and 260.89 allow for a "clean install", BUT I still use Driver Sweeper ...safe mode..CCleaner.......yada yada...just to be sure.....

In my experience folding was very picky about the drivers being installed fresh; I installed this on two rigs using only the 'clean install' option and both rigs were up and folding with no issues which is a good sign.

Been folding for almost 24 hrs on a GTS450 on these drivers + XP 32 bit. No problems so far. Just installed on my Win7 64bit GTS450 and while it didn't resolve the wierd sub-50% GPU usage (unless I'm running Realtemp and then everything is fine) I've had with that build, everything else seems fine with no difference in TPF / Reported PPD.

Guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet on that rig and do a full re-install to see if it resolves the issue... :( (Not right away though... just got my replacement 450 running, and want to catch up on the PPD I lost during that time + the 12 hrs I had the other rig down for OCing.......).

Fold On!!!!!!!!!!

Could be a sign of 470 EOL? But still... the 470 is simply a slightly neutered 480, I can't see why the improvements wouldn't carry over?
Yes Id tend to agree with the above. i.e that the improvements would carry over..unless I'm missing something?
