I got the CX430, and surprising for a $35 PSU its very quite and stable. Good for a older system, or a lower powered one.

Are these good units? I'm tempted to say 'yes' since its a Corsair unit, but they would not be the first company to shoot itself in the foot.

They are good. Unfortunately, the CX430 is actually a step down from the old CX400 and it has less +12V power available.

Just put a CX430 in my boss's Clarkdale build last week. It was priced very well @ NCIX. Should be a reliable PSU for entry level builds. All cables are fully sleeved, which is nice.

From what I have found its a CWT build that is still great for a low end build, but I agree that it seems to be a step backwards from the 400cx
