Companies like teksavvy are only going to benefit from this. Hopefully all the re-sellers using Roger's/Bell's network with unlimited plans (or high plans like 200gb) will take some market share from the evil companies. If enough people switch, they'll eventually have to reduce their caps. I blame the CRTC :/

Same here. Its great... despite the lack of selection, I got lots of movies anyway. This just compliments my collection, and gives me access to great shows I couldn't find elsewhere

I signed up yesterday, it's on FREE trial month anyway right now.

Not a lot of new blockbuster movies, but lots of pretty good documentaries (tv/movies) and other things. Lots of series are listed as "Not Available", I'm guessing these will be available in the future?

If you average 4 hrs on Netflix per day, that's around 240GB download for HD per month*. I hope shawcable won't suspend me D:

*Watching for 1 hour will use approximately 1GB of bandwidth and approximately 2GB an hour if you are watching HD. You have the option to set your account to "no HD" if you'd prefer.

I watched a few Eps of Man Vs Wild last night, it streams very well at home. Definitely happy that they are finally here in Canada. Been waiting WAY too long!

Maybe its just me, but I really don't get what the big deal is. I mean I already get my TV in HD and have a pvr to be able to watch whenever I want. Then with movies you can rent blurays and get much higher quality than you will get from netflix.

I guess there is the price and that it is only $8/month so at least it isn't too expensive. But as others have said you add that $8 to all the overage charges most people are going to end up with and it will start to look not as cheap. I don't know, just my opinion.

Works good on my PS3. It's actually pretty smart at guessing which movies I might like. I like the service, and I think I'll stay after the free month. It's only $8 a month, and I figure the more supporters the better their selection will get. I also only have basic SD cable right now that I get for free, and movies are like $10 at blockbuster. Looks good to me.
