all I can say is benchmarks.

I doubt adding an extra gig of memory will significantly increase performance.

Same, look at the 5870 1GB vs 2GB, not a huge difference. I expect with the 460 the difference would be even less.

meh. without a bigger interface it wont make a difference.

Like throwing a spoiler on a van.

there was another thread, posted a link to a review. only at 2560x or so it made some difference. it could make a bigger difference if you run a bunch of stuff that takes gpu memory, like crunching and such. probably will take 1gb or less, but good to have overhead.

Why some company always have to put TO MUCH memory on a card...it change NOTHING!!!

I'd love to see a brave company unlock more tesselation units/cores (if that's even possible) on a GTX460 than this added memory :P
