Evolutionary Step. Should be amazing color screens with the best TRUE contrast ratio of any monitor to date.

However, two downsides I noted; "Full HD" means 16:9 resolution? And no 120Hz refresh rate was mentioned, so they are probably 60hz :(

still waiting for larger 3D/120Hz screens :( hopefully they'll be released soon ..

It's a shame only the professional one includes a height adjustable (an pivot/swivel) base. That and they are 16:9 and not 16:10

LG fail.
"Professional" and 16:9 resolution. lol
It'd be hilarious if they also had the same tinting issues as the Dell monitors using the same panels.


FYIs as far as IPS goes.
2209WA is the best gaming monitor out there. Runs at 75hz, fo rizzle. 22" only though.
ZR24W is the best 24" out there. Only 60hz though.

Default LG Intros Four LED IPS Panels

Now the LG have launched new IPS panel with FPR technology having as high as 240 Hz refresh rate, flicker free and no cross talk......
