Lucid Introduces UNITY Graphics Board Architecture

I'm curious to see just how much better things can be with this implemented into the gpu specific architecture. If I understand it correctly, now you can use both types to get the best out of each into one system without major challenges. At least for people like me who only know a tiny bit about components and virtually nothing about software.

Alright, well let's just wait and see how well this actually works and if card manufacturers actually adopt this chip. I wonder if this does become a common thing in the market, how much of a price increase will cards with these chips carry?
