Sorry Skyllz, you must have misread something. PNY has Fermi cards in the market already, NCIX has stock on them.
NCIX.com - Buy PNY GeForce GTX 470 Fermi 607MHZ 1280MB 3348MHZ GDDR5 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDMI Video Card - VCGGTX470XPB In Canada.
NCIX.com - Buy PNY GeForce GTX 480 Fermi 700MHZ 1536MB 3696MHZ GDDR5 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDMI Video Card - VCGGTX480XPB In Canada.

PNY

That's what I was reffering too.

The RMA thing with rebate will be good for cards bought directly on their website if I read right.

Ahh, I see what you are referring to. Yes, they are not showing any GTX460 cards available for purchase yet on their website.

And from the process shown on their website, you register, get an RMA, send in your BFG card, they receive it, and email you a promo code "Good for UP TO 25%" on cards bought from their site. What the actual discount is will not be revealed until you add a card to your cart. TBH, I probably wouldn't do it with a working card, but if I had a dead one I'd sure consider it.

Here's the promo page on their site: PNY

I wonder if they would honour this with my old dead AGP 6800GT...

This is really good PR on PNY's part. People remember these things, and in this cluttered market, that's a real bonus. Rebate's attract people, but good CS is what keeps them staying. However, that 'up to 25%' offer seems like it could also flush any goodwill down the toilet, especially if people end up getting only 10/15% off.

well, if you send in a brick and spend 10$ in shipping thus saving 50$ on a new card, works for me.

I wonder if this is also an offer for the UK or rest of the world?
