Sandisk has come up with a pretty inventive little device (see what we did there), dubbed the integrated SSD or iSSD. The iSSD is a solid state devices no bigger than a postage stamp at 16mm x 20mm x 1.85mm, and weighs less than one gram. It would only even be sold to OEM's & mfgs. This isn't a consumer level product at all.

coin sized? I wonder what the inCENTive (see what I did there?) to use such a product would be, cost per GB over current flash..

wow. pair this with the chewing gum sized pcb+ram+cpu+video computer and you get yourself a powerhouse inside a cell phone or such!

Nice, that could mean they could save a whackload of space in a laptop and put another GPU in there for multi-GPU capabilities! MWAHAHAHAHA. Or some extra battery...

Maybe these will end up becoming the new SSDs integrated onto the pcbs. Half dozen at 64 gb/ means more capacity, and maybe, chuckle chuckle, lower pricing on those! Desk tops will be the size of laptops at this rate.

SuperTalent already does that. Their Raiddrive and SuperCrypt USB 3 flash drives are basically nothing more then a sata SSD w/ usb controller/bridge tacked on.
Think VERY fast. Think 245mb/s fast....from a thumb drive ;)
