Not entirely true- the Steelseries 7G is also a mechanical keyswitch designed with gamers in mind.

But this is great to hear! I'm pretty excited by this news and hopefully the product lives up to it's hype. If so, I'm definitely getting one.

I would definitely trade in my G15 2nd gen for one of these, if reviews say so...

Smile Press Release

Another winner for the gaming crowd! I wonder just how much innovation is the result of such pursuits.

I don't see what the big deal is. Mechanical keyboards have been popular with gamers for years, and Steelseries already has a gaming-oriented board on the market.

It looks to have TWO windows key. That right there is already better than the steelseries mechanical keyboard (even if after a year now I'm used to having only 1 windows key)

EDIT: NOPE haha I only looked on the left side for a windows key and assumed that there was one on the right... (my Steelseries has one on the right but not on the left). Still only 1 windows key.

Why would you want or need more than one windows key?

Hopefully this helps bring down the price of mechanical switch keyboards.
