That's a Heatkiller block on there. I've always liked the look of their GPU blocks.

now that is a card that does need the cooling. sometimes you see 'better' coolers on a card which on stock fares pretty well already. not this one :)

Smile Press Release

I wondered how long it would take b4 someone came out with a manufacturer's water cooled setup. While I have never had a wc system, this one looks like a winner. Will others follow suit? EVGA?

Actually, EVGA already has their Hydro Copper model out. They are usually first to market with waterblock high end GPU's.

IIRC, the EVGA on the 480water FTW block is not that high of quality.

Yeah, the EVGA unit uses a Swiftech block, I believe. But it did pretty respectably on the block round-up not long ago. And of course, EVGA's warranty details speak for themselves.

A little lame that this card is clocked at stock. You'd think they'd at least offer a small vote of confidence that the card has some overhead to it.

Wow. This is a surprising move. I wasn't aware of this...

It would be great to have a review of this. I have never done water cooling before, and one of the things that is putting me off is the process of removing the stock cooler from your expensive video card and voiding the warranty.
