What really sucks in the big picture is the fact their cards are now worth little compared to the competition for resale with no warranty at all whereas before there was basically a transferable warranty.

BFG's warranty hadn't been transferable for a while. You had to register the serial number of your card on their site along with proof of purchase, similar to how EVGA does things.

maybe not. say you buy an evga second hand and have no idea who is the first owner, you dont have warranty either.

On the flipside, that's to an enthusiast's advantage as one could essentially get a lot of card for a lot less coin.

Thanks, but honestly I wasn't let go at Ultra. I left Ultra to work for BFG. Look where that ended me up.
