ok. i dig that. did they remove anything to make it more efficient like the gf104 parts? :)

and if everything is the same? perhaps. but 32 more unlocked buggers might bring heat up just enough for you to see problems on stock/auto settings..perhaps

Speculation surrounding how NVIDIA will release the card is still varied, with most expecting that it may be simply slipped into the existing GTX 480 market without any differentiation at the manufacturer level, much like the GTX 260 (216SP).

The idea that they're not going to do something like call it a GTX485... can't help but wonder if Nvidia is deliberately holding that designation for something else.

Still, I've been waiting to see this for quite some time. It may only be 6% boost, but it's 6% in an area where gains are hard-fought for, especially if you want nothing to do with multi-GPU. Assuming the overclockability isn't shot to hell, one of these cards may just find its way into my rig.

now that will show a 10% improvement. at stock. oc it and approach insane levels for your 219$ vs 350-400+ $ other parts :)
