You should also mention the fact that this will not be compatible with 99.99% of the laptops/notebooks available because it is 3 mm thicker than the standard 9.5 mm 2.5" hard drive.

Hhmm, you would think they would mention something like that in a PR.

ouch, if true. shoot in the foot. but still, how did wd manage to squeeze 2 platters in there and sammy cant? them asians are good cramming stuff into small places.usually.

WD didn't put two platters in their drive. It's also 12.5mm thick like this one.

They actually don't mention it's application for laptops. But in reality, when someone hears '2.5" hard drive' they instantly think > laptop... and probably dont think "hey, that'd be great for my tiny media storage solution!".
