Now i undestand it getting the attention of professionals that need this much ram to run simulations and such, but no gamer needs 24GB of ram, hell they would need just 1 of sticks and be good for gaming.

u need all 24GB of like OCed RAM when ur playing like Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Crysis2 GTA4, Dirt2 at the same time

They must be pretty dumb "extreme gamers" if they think 24GB does anything for them above 6GB lol. Im pretty sure no game will be using that much memory for probably 10 years.

Reminds me of a family friend who got an i7 920 with a GTX260, and 12gb of RAM so he can read his email and do online banking on a 56k connection...

it'll be funny if like a guy buys a HAF-X like an EVGA Classified SR-2 then 4GTX 480 watercooled in SLI, Intel core i7 980x also watercooled and OC'ed to like 4.5GHz

Just to browse on the internet LOOOOL i cant even think of that in my own system and im an enthusiast with crappy specs

hmm well we certainly don't need 24 GB or RAM ever, they have improved the speed to 2000Mhz so i think this will be useful
