Doesn't the 5770 run super cool already anyways? What's the point in adjusting the fan to shave MAYBE a degree off your GPU/system if at all? And 3 expansion slots? Yikes.

Agreed. By the looks of those pictures, the adjustment is only a max of 1cm. I would think fan mounting angle would have played a more interested role...or the fan position relative to the total length of the card...

May help with noise as fans can vary based on the amount of space between them and the cooler.... but unless they have CRAZY QC/workmanship problems it should be easy to find out the optimal space for the given fan....

Might make it cooler/louder up close and hotter/quieter/more incidental airflow up high? Beats me.
