Although Kingston didn't have a booth at this year's Computex Taipei event, the company did announce a handful of very interesting products prior to and during the exhibition. In this article we take a closer look at some of them.... [ Read full article ]

Their pricing is too high for their DDR3 Triple Channel kits. Mushkin Redlines are the best bang for your buck by far. I scored my 6 GB 2000mhz (8-8-7-24) Redline kit at NCIX for $299 CDN.

EVERYTHING that Kingston makes is super expensive. That company, along with Corsair seem to love charging a quite visible premium for their products although there's nothing premium about them.

If you want system-specific memory products, Kingston will have something for you. I'll give them that but for the mainstream and enthusiast user, their products offer no value.

Smile Press Release

Another milestone yet again. I'm sure it won't be long before that one will be broken either. All we have to do is wait a while to reap the benefits by buying the older units. The other benefit is the price of these older units becomes cheaper, or at least a bit more reasonable as newer cutting edge hardware/products come out.
