I agree. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Canada Computers and Tigerdirect when NCIX moves in.
I also plan on making a major purchase on the last Thursday of this month. I'm predicting a nice "beat the HST sale" from NCIX.

This is only good because of the HST. If the HST wasn't coming I would be pretty pissed if they moved here. Just means ground shipping will be here in 1 or 2 days and I won't have to pay for express to get it in a day.

There is so much competition now that even with NCIX's PM they still can't beat other some places with lower shipping costs. Maybe this will change.

Interesting. I went and made a pre-HST order yesterday, if they do have a sale with obscenely low prices, I'll probably end up doing it again. And then curse myself for spending way too much money.
I'd like to see some saturation around here. Be a lot better than the zero options there are now. Not that I would ever move south for any reason, I don't even visit there.

Awesome, though somewhat expected with the HST(they would of lost a decent chunk of sales from Ontario, this will help retain some of that lost business due to HST)

I totally understand and agree FiXT.. it's going to get worse for sure.. not saying stuff will get cheaper, but maybe expect a tad bit more from NCIX. It's been couple months Mem Ex keeps doing their free shipping over $39, and since they also PM, makes them a perfect place to shop really. So NCIX will have to work on something more..

Off course Netlink in general is a lot larger than mem ex, since they have successful sister companies, but not to forget I'm very happy with mem ex, I still shop at ncix, but since mem ex price matches, ncix almost lost my business..

Certainly bad news for the little guy. I don't expect prices to fall much, due to low margins.

Main benefit I see is improved selection.

Thank god they're finally opening one near Toronto! I wish I had known about this ahead of time..I just pulled the trigger on a computer system like 3 days ago from them, bah! :( Oh well.

Anyways, we definitely benefited from having a store opening here. Pricematching, RMA's, and pick ups = win. No middle man to mess up the delivery.
