Talk about pure marketing bulls**t. Google is getting ready to pimp their own OS in the near future, this is just a way to try to make the competition look less viable. Today I remove Google software from all my PC's, I don't care for blatant stupidity....

Google has always been inherently evil. Linux still has a tiny market share and it's been around for a LOOOOONG time. What makes Google think that the average Joe will be using their OS?

This is entirely foolish. They have an issue with an Internet Explorer browser exploit, so they ban Windows?

A quote to show their brilliance:

"I don't think it's fair to say that Linux and Mac OS X are more secure than Windows, but I do think it's reasonable to claim that they're safer because of the much smaller number of attacks that target the platforms," said Graham Cluley, a senior technology consultant with security specialists Sophos."

The incident they reference in the article is when some Chinese hackers got into their system specifically looking for information. What can we infer from the breach? That it was intentional, and not just randomly gaining access because they can. This means, if they are determined to enter, Windows or not they're going to get in if your security is lax.

I'll likely be removing Chrome if they feel they want to go through with this. It may even affect whether or not I purchase a phone with the Android OS.
