Default Aliens vs. Predator DX11 Stand-Alone Benchmark Now Available

New Aliens vs. Predator benchmark gives users the ability to test the mettle of their DX11 hardware with tessellation and advanced shadows without having to purchase the game.

Rebellion, Sega and Twentieth Century FOX have released a detailed, stand-alone DX11 benchmark for the popular Aliens vs. Predator game.

Doesn't work on DX 10 hardware either Win 7 (64), 9800 GTX+ ( Fail )

Yeah, I was going to dl it until I realised that my 275 doesn't do DX 11. Guess the only green team folks this is for would be those with 470 or 480 cards.

People were saying that the Tessellation was punishing for HD5000-series cards in AvP.
It doesn't seem to be at all. Nice graphics.

I own the game and play in 1680 X 1050 DX11 Tessellation ON all details maxed and get good playable.

Is that benchmark is also built-in the game itself or it's only a standalone?

Too bad the game feels unfinished. All three species campaigns are taking place on the same maps.
The MP is good, but 99% of the dedicated servers are empty.

I downloaded it expecting my 285gtx to be dx11 but it isn't hehe

I heard these in-game benchmarks can be manipulated. I read that either NVIDIA or AMD used to tune their drivers so that they perform uber well in these tests, then come playing the actual game the FPS drops a lot more than expected. I've experienced it myself when playing F.E.A.R.
