My System Specs

Default 16 Intel 45nm CPUs released with pricing

Here's the table with price per 1000- these were released ahead of schedule at about 11AM on the 11th- lest we forget who's kicking ass right now.

They look pretty good, just sort of expensive in comparison from what is already out.

Yeah- looks like you'll get the relative equivalent of the Q6600 with 1333MHz for the same-ish price.

Default Dont they run cooler though?

Given that they are 45nm maybe they will run cooler and have more over-clocking headroom.

I thought they were supposed to be faster clock for clock as well but could be wrong after seeing the QX9850 review posted here.

My eye is on the E5405 quad @ $200.00!

Is it LGA775?

Yeah- the techgage review said they were faster clock for clock, and they're more efficient- I wasn't really trying to say that your 280 wouldn't get you more chip, just that it's the rough equivalent in the next lineup

Default wonder when those xeons will appear at NCIX

The QX is there now. Those Xeons are a great price!
