Yes, Spider is very real and has the potential to be something really amazing.

Personally, I haven't been this excited about anything out of AMD / ATI since...well......never.

Default thats good

Hopefully it will be the upgrade to end all upgrades

How much is all this going to cost though?

Its bad enough thinking about using two cards let alone 3 or 4 and the software developers are going to love optimizing for this, consoles and nvidia!

Oh well best of luck to them all, competition is always good.

Skeptical for sure.. they said there last batch of cards was supposed to be great.

And really yes they came out with the quads but the FX series requires a whole different board where with intel you buy one board and use many different cpus.

It will basically be the cost of a Phenom, two 3870 or 3850 cards, and a 790FX mobo. There are also some rumors that you can MIX GPUs in Crossfire....which means if you have a HD3850 and suddenly have enough money to buy a HD3870, you can combine the two for Crossfire.
