Default NVIDIA Releases 197.55 WHQL Drivers for GTX400 Series

NVIDIA has launched a new driver specifically for the 197.55 GTX 400 series of video cards. Unfortunately there really isn't much to them. Probably was easier for them to do it this way... And it'll probably be easier to keep the drivers for Fermi separate from the rest, I wouldn't be surprised if they change the naming and numbering scheme for Fermi drivers to differentiate them from the old ones...

Do that mean if you want to use a another card for Physx you need two drivers? Or do the Physx driver look after that

Thumbs down Two drivers??

I emailed Nvidia and asked them if I could run my 480 GTX and 295 GTX in the same system... And they told NO! Two different cards two different drivers!

Well you can install two different video drivers on the same OS, with Windows 7 that is... that's how Optimus works I believe (thanks HWC)... so, couldn't you do this with a PhysX card? hmmm

Well I have 480 SLI and a GTX 260 for physx. Don't see the problem.

I have my GTX480 running with a GTX260 right now...
