Default Noctua Offers NM-90 Cooler Rotation Upgrade Kit for AMD Users

Noctua today announced the availability of the new NM-A90 Upgrade-Kit for NH-U12P SE2 and NH-U9B SE2 users. The upgrade makes it possible to install the heatsink turned by 90 on AMD motherboards. Noe that's the way to do business! I for one am tired of all the amd mounts that force you to blow up or down.

Strange... I have the original NH-U9B on an AM2+ board and it already came with hardware that allows me to mount the heatsink in an East-West orientation (as well as North-South).

I'm surprised the SE2 version didn't come with that mounting option out of the box.

Update: Well what do you know? I just checked Noctua's website for the installation manual for the NH-U9B, and the NH-U9B SE2. While the NH-U9B comes with hardware for both mounting options for AMD users, the SE2 version does not! I wonder what prompted that change. At least they're now offering the kit for free for SE2 owners. :)

I like the way noctua always give new bracket to their user. It's a kind of service that make them out stand in many categories.
