Personally I really don't care if it is unlocked or not. Bclk is very rarely the issue when it comes to overclocking. Unless the CPU's are actually binned higher, meh.

So those new processor fix the problem, I found my obsidian overkill for a i5-750, with this new i7-875K... it's diferent...and give me an other reason to not spent my money on the new Nvidia products.. will be funny to see those new Ferarri 1156 build overtake the 1366 dynosaures

I knew what he meant, but the title is still inaccurate.

Depending on the premium value, that 665K might be a very good niche product for an OC build. Maybe akin to the old high multi celerons? Nothing like those old 2.2ghz 22 multi 100 FSB Celerons hitting 4+ghz with ease! All for 50 bucks.

If Intel does release these, I wonder what they'll be priced at. $20 more expensive?

Oh what's going to happen to the Extreme Editions? I feel sorry for those that just bought an Extreme Edition CPU.

Excellent news, depending on the price of course. I may be willing to pay 20% more for the same chip with unlocked multi but I dont think more than that is really worth it. If they pull the $1000 stunt Ill just laugh
