Its when the fanboys or the 'bad news bears' get carried away that takes the fun out of it. When folks get rude then it can get ugly, and folks can get sucked in to an argument.

I for one like to look at the 'real' and 'fake' benches, but I don't take them seriously. With nVidia so tight-lipped, it would be interesting to see if anybody has the balls/are stupid enough to leak info early.

I think it would be premature to make any buying decisions based on any benches you see until the 26th though. An argument can be made that this product should not be purchased until drivers and possible hardware issues are worked out or at least exposed, and that would be a few months. The real prices of the cards will be clearer then too.

Computer hardware has been relatively boring over the past 6 months or so (SSDs have been good though), so a new product has the upgraders in a frenzy which does not help. Combine that with tax season, and possible low inventory, people want to be the first to get these cards.

Mark: find me some 'fake' folding benches will ya? I have been looking for those and can't find them.

Oh I know Chris, we never got heated. And by the close looks at it there might be some merit in its cooling potential now that we've had closer Photos.

As for your Folding Benches, well that all depends on Stanford too

Look at this link, Asus put on their box , that they have include a tweaker feature that will allow the user to tweak the voltage to "shift into overdrive" to make things "50% faster."

Haha...extra volts to get the disabled cores going and clock speed increase?

Thats a big claim that requires lots of fine print to be read.

I something that came in my mind : if those Chips use in the Fermi was really design for cloud server first, is that make them better candidate for folding than gaming ? may be with some tweaking with the collaboration of Nvidia ( Bios) and Stratford they can even go for the Bidadv , I just throw it like this I have no idea if it can be.
