There is no way a 5770 is powerful enough to be able to do 5 monitors. That seems a little bizarre to me.

5770s are fairly cheap, so one could go eyefinity with 3x monitors and two 5770's in Crossfire then add another one or two 5770s and even another two monitors if they wanted! lol... grand total of 4x 5770s in Quadfire + 5-monitor eyefinity, seems pretty sweet to me. hehe

I'm thinking this is more business multimonitor oriented then gaming...

Depending how much it cost, it might just rival the matorox's(spelling) pretty well.

Default 5770 + 5 monitors is not great for games but fantastic for movies.

At last! I can watch 5 porn movies at the same time . . .

@ Iphikratous

Actually, I have a 5770 powering two TripleHead2Go units for combined resolution of 3840*2048. It plays older games quite well. (mostly Ive been playing Guild Wars (with all details at max.))

As a mater of fact I successfully tested this setup with a 260GTS, 8800GT, and 7950GX2 (though it only used 1 GPU) under XP with "vertical span" mode. It even runs runs on a 6600GT ------ though that is only as slide shows. Prior to the 5000 series I had tried a 4870 but it didn't like the resolution.
