I've held one in my hand, they are huge, definitely not LGA1366.

Mark, of course I know that . I'm just talking about how many cores you can fit into a single system. This board is nothing compared to the possibilities with real server hardware.

Beckton uses a quad-channel memory controller along with a few other changes compared to the LGA1366 chips, so it needs a different socket.
