Actually, current HDMI 1.3-totting Blu Ray players just need a firmware update to support 3D but the cables can only handle dual 1080i signals. No 1080P. Hence why the PS3 will support it.

The TVs on the other hand don't interest me. I should have bought that LN52B750 because it looks like the C-series equivalent will be 3D ready and carry a 25%-40% price premium.

Interesting info Sky. I'm really interested in 3D tech right now, I'd love to see it in person for some of the video games nvidia supports. Wonder if they'll have some demo's setup in best buy or something.

This. I saw some TVs reported on Engadget and said that they required no glasses and had more than 12 viewing angles. We're getting closer to a pure 3D TV, and I'll be looking forward to that.

I am trying to convince NVIDIA to do something in Canada. We'll see how that pans out.

My sentiments exactly. Forget about the extra, and new hardware that's required; I'm more terrified about viewing certain personalities in 3D. Will people really want to see Lloyd Robertson or Rex Murphy in that way? It's the stuff of nightmares!

Wonder if anyone in London will let us look? CC has the Samsung 22" in stock, not sure why they don't demo that thing!

I think 3D will be like blu-ray. It'll be around for a long time but never really catch on.
