So does this thing use a new chip that a company like Auzen will use? Any features or benefits that hardwill will have over current stuff?

If you're ready to spend $150 on a quality sound card, I have found that going for a sound card with better components yields better sound rather than a sound card with the latest processor but average components.

From the specifications listed it sounds like this is going to be a damn good sound card. Up there in sound quality like the Auzen Prelude, Xonar D2X, and Essence STX.
