Not normally known for their unique designs it will be interesting to see if this engineering sample takes flight. Using a Single PCB design the Galaxy card will feature a single 80mm fan per core as opposed to a more traditional centre mounted... [ Read full article ]

Well we shall see if it comes to be, but if they go for sale I've gotta make room for 1 or 4 lol.

Espically since the 92B core runs a lot cooler than my old GX2's.

If they make it cheaper enough then it could be a folders delight. If they make it cheap enough.

Alot of people won't right off the hop, and if the card performs fairly well at a good price then it has a market place.

Remember, top Tier Products are only purchased by a small percentage of people.

Mainstream products such as these are much more popular.

As I said, I'd buy em.

Interesting timing to say the least. This card will live or die by it's price point. If it falls in the $200 range I'd say it might be attractive to mid-range customers and with 256 shaders it could be a nice little folder as well. Having said that, in my personal opinion we won't be seeing a lot of other card makers taking this approach but if we do the 240 (GT215) might be a good candidate.

What - you don't like the brand new Galaxy 8800GTS GX2?

This is not a mainstream product by any means. Not that I disagree with your general sentiment, but still.
