You guys act like -everyone- buying a video card is as well educated as you. People will buy them, because it fits their budget and performance expectations and they don't bother looking any further into it than that.

Most of the people you are talking about probably will never hear about this card in the first place. It's the type of niche product that only real enthusiasts would find out about, let alone actually be interested in.

I still think this card is a great idea as long as it is priced right. A 9800GX2 is still a capable card. The only real problem is that they ran very hot. This card should run a tad cooler.

I am pretty sure Zotac is also making a dual GTS250 card as well. I am sure one of them will go through with it.
