Interesting. How this would compare against the Solid 2 is what I'm wondering. Hopefully this will actually be a good-"budget" ssd.

I love value, I too am interested in what controller it uses. I'm more excited about the review though!

It uses a Indinlix "Amigos" controller. So it has ITGC and TRIM.
IIRC (and I may be way off base) its Indi's low end controller. Meant to compete in the "value orientated" range. Saw a product description the other day that said it supported "up to" 64GB of MLC NAND. ;)

buy a solid 2 is what i would do 125mb read is real slow for an ssd. jmo it really depends on what the starting price is if it's 100$ then for get the solid 2 is only 20 bucks more. jmo

$99 for 32gb is $3/gb for an inferior controller. The spin doctors working overtime.

Seems a bit strange when folks are picking up 30GB Vertex's for similar prices, albeit with rebates. I suppose OCZ does have to have this pricepoint covered in the face of increasing competition, though.

unless they make the vertex 30GB EOL, this is fail in my mind.
